cocoapodsはXcodeによるMacでの開発の際、いつか必要または必要とされるライブラリ管理ツールです.
インストールのため、node.jsをインストールする必要があります.インストール方法については、以下の説明を参照してください.

また、cocoapodsがインストールできない場合がありますので、それを避けるためにHomebrewをインストールすることをお勧めします.Homebrewはパッケージマネージャですが、インストール方法は以下の説明を参照してください.

💻 設定

cocoapodsをインストールするにはterminalに入って次のコマンドを入力します.

$ sudo gem install cocoapods

自分のmacパスワードを入力すれば、インストールできます.
しかし、私の場合もそうですが、たまに次のようなエラーが発生してインストールできません.

MacOSにHomebrewをインストールする
Homebrewがインストールされている場合は、端末に次のコマンドを順番に入力します.

$ brew cleanup -d -v
$ brew install cocoapods

インストールが完了したら、次のコマンドでインストールが成功したことを確認できます.

$ pod --version
